Sales of the LG KP500 have been phenomenal in the few months since its UK launch in late 2008. The 3 inch touchscreen and sub £120 price tag made it an instant hit amongst users who wanted iphone looks, features, and functionality, but without the iphone price tag. Perhaps even more impressive than its innovative launch spec though, is the fact that several months down the line and with new rival models finally entering the market from other manufacturers, the LG Cookie is still holding its own.
LG KP500 Cookie Pink - stylish, fun, affordable
The LG KP500 Pink is an incredibly stylish touchscreen mobile phone that's lightweight, slim and incredibly pleasing on both the eye and the palm. The pink handsets hit the market slightly after the model's initial launch, and have proven to be a resounding success, with the ensuing demand wiping out initial stocks in just a few days. Similar in design to the much more expensive and advanced LG KC910 Renoir, the LG KP500 Cookie brings premium styling to the budget mobile phone range, making it hard to see how LG will fail to meet their much-publicised 10 million worldwide sales targets for 2009.

Easily the most striking feature of the LG KP500 Cookie is the wide 3 inch colour TFT screen, which combines incredible pin-sharp clarity with high resolution performance. The Cookie also uses accelerometer sensor technology to rotate the display according to the orientation of the handset, making for a seamless user experience when used on the move. And perhaps one of the Cookie's most popular features is its handwriting recognition capability, which when coupled with the input stylus, makes the Cookie a truly versatile mobile device.
